Love Lissy, so stylish. A charming restroom rendition indeed, but there is just something about the original.....:

Listen : Sebastien Tellier : Roche

Via Pedestrian:

"I like to think he sleeps with exotic women on a silk sheeted, revolving heart shaped bed, and in the new clip for "Roche" Tellier does little to dispel that assumption. The clip opens on the beach with the Frenchman in a white suit playing a white piano and though it's hard to take him seriously it's just as hard to keep your head from bopping. Even when Tellier rides a horse over the contours of a woman's body it's done with enough of a knowing wink we laugh with him not at him. That ability, I suppose, is his greatest asset because in the end cheesy need not equate to bad."

More Radiohead : Shelter Campaign

.

Radiohead was kind enough to donate a track for the new Leo Burnett-created campaign for UK housing charity, Shelter. The "House of Cards" work is designed to raise awareness of the fragility of the UK housing situation, which sees millions of people being pushed to breaking point by high housing costs, which are trapping people in bad housing and causing homelessness. The attached film also features a voiceover by the Academy Award nominated actress, Samantha Morton, who herself experienced homelessness before she became famous. The commercial was shot by Dom and Nic from Outsider and the post-production was done by Framestore. All the companies and individuals listed in this release donated their time and services for free.
